The commercial general liability policy from Great American provides liability protection for your horse-related business. It is intended for equine professionals and business owners with policy limits available up to $1,000,000 each occurrence, $2,000,000 annual aggregate.
This coverage is intended for businesses engaged in commercial activities like boarding, training, riding lessons, breeding and the sale of horses. It protects the business owner for these activities both on the premises and away, and may be endorsed to extend these protections to the owner of the property for premises not owned by the insured. In addition to paying money damages as a result of claims against the business, it will also provide for defense in lawsuits, even if the lawsuit was groundless.
The commercial general liability policy may be endorsed to include protection for non-owned horses in your care (Care, Custody and Control). Higher limits of liability protection may also be purchased through a commercial umbrella / excess policy.
