American Reliable Equine Mortality Coverage
American Reliable Insurance Company offers equine mortality insurance designed to protect horse owners against the financial loss associated with the death of an insured horse.
With American Reliable’s standard Equine Mortality Policy, your horse is covered for death caused by accident, injury, illness or disease, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy. Coverage also includes humane euthanasia when required to prevent unmanageable pain and suffering.
Standard coverage includes:
- Equine Mortality Coverage — Coverage for the insured value of your horse following a covered death.
- Theft Coverage — Coverage for loss resulting from theft or unlawful taking.
- Free Colic Surgery Coverage — Reimbursement of up to $5,000, or 50% of the horse’s insured value, whichever is less, subject to policy terms.
- Guaranteed Renewal — Provides one additional 12-month renewal of mortality coverage when specified conditions are satisfied, even following certain covered accidents, injuries, illnesses or diseases during the policy term.
Optional American Reliable Horse Insurance Coverages
Additional coverage may be available by endorsement to a qualifying American Reliable Equine Mortality policy. These coverages are not available on a stand-alone basis.
