The Care, Custody and Control endorsement from Travelers Insurance Company fills an often overlooked gap in the commercial equine liability policy by providing legal liability coverage for horses entrusted to you by their owners. It is an important coverage if you board, train or breed horses for others. In the event you are found negligent for the injury or death of a non-owned animal in your care, this policy will pay for the medical care and/or replacement of the horse up to the policy limits. Defense costs are also covered. Several limit options are available, up to a maximum amount of $200,000 per horse, $500,000 per policy period.
